Today January 15th marks the official birthday of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr, he would have been 83 years old today! It’s amazing that a man I have never met has taught me so much and has impacted the world which we live in greatly. Tomorrow, January 16th is his official holiday, a celebration of his life and all his contributions he so willingly gave to the world. It’s not just another day off of work or school. I encourage you all to go out and participate in something that gives back to the community whether it’s helping an elderly neighbor, painting a local playground or taking the time out to inform your children on the importance of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr day.
