Villanova and Temple could be playing each other once again – this time, in the NCAA tournament.
The Villanova Wildcats received the No. 2 spot in the South and will face No. 15 spot UNC-Asheville on Friday in Brooklyn.
As for the Owls, Temple has the No. 10 spot. They will play No. 7 seed Iowa on Friday in Brooklyn as well.
If both the Wildcats and the Owls win, the two rival teams will play each other in the second round.
Saint Joseph’s as the No. 8 seed in the West will play against No. 9 Cincinnati on Friday in Spokane, Washington. The Hawks earned an automatic bid after winning the Atlantic-10 Championship on Sunday.
