Remember those Spelman girls? Specifically, twins Kristie and Kirstie Bronner (yep, of the Bronner Bros. hair extravaganzas and company), who were the historic HBCU Spelman College’s first twin and co-valedictorians! (So they share genes and IQs? Not fair!) Succeeding those shared, overachieving tendencies (they’ve also published a self-help book), the girls have confirmed that they are now also practicing youth pastors!

As post-grads with majors in Music, they sought to slightly re-direct their goals in the lane of ministry by becoming the youth pastors at the Word of Faith Family Worship Cathedral in Austell, GA, where their father Dale Bronner is a Bishop. Some of their responsibilities include planning conferences and coordinating events, monthly worships, social gatherings and retreats. They also direct the music department and conduct the Ignite Youth Praise Team!

From an exclusive feature with The Root, Kirstie Bronner spoke on their career prospects, “We strongly believe in faith and work. None of us is perfect, so achievement and success come as a product of faith and work.”

“God is a huge part of our lives. When we were focused on academics in college, we never lost our foundation in Christ, slept in on a Sunday or used it as an extra Saturday.”

It’s great that the Bronners took advantage of their connects for such positive purposes. And in months to come, they’re going to have to start making arrangements at Word of Faith for a wedding because Kirstie got engaged to her childhood (of course) sweetheart Kyle Foley, a U.S. Air Force pilot (double of course) back in February.
