You know Godfrey from films like: Soul Plane, Original Gangstas, Zoolander, and Johnson Family Vacation. The funny man was also a spokesperson the popular ‘7Up Yours’ advertising campaign.
He stopped by the Tom Joyner Morning Show to talk about his upcoming performance at the Addison Improv this weekend and his love for Denzel Washington.
On starring in ‘Soul Plane’:
“That set was very expensive. It was a very high budget movie. I had so much fun talking to Snoop Dogg. We would talk about cartoons.”
On admiring Denzel Washington:
“He to me is the greatest. His body of work is the greatest. He’s that same dude now. He did two train movies in a row. He did ‘Pelham 123′ and ‘Unstoppable’.
