Jacque Reid talks about the fight against the biological clock most women face, including Tai Beauchamp a veteran Journalist and lifestyle expert, who made the decision to freeze her eggs on her 35th birthday.
“I’ve been toying with the idea for some time. I set the timeline for me at 35, but at 33 I found out I had Fibroids,” she says.
So just how much does it cost to keep the eggs frozen?
“Storage is about $1200 a year. Some place can be as low as $8500. But what I didn’t realize is that there is financial assistance for this kind of thing,” Beauchamp said.
