“Orange Is The New Black” fans are about to get another perspective on the story that inspired the series.

The Netflix hit show, which is itself based on a book by the same name, has spawned another book deal! According to The Hollywood Reporter, Clear Wolters will be writing a memoir of her own to be titled “Out Of Orange.”

You may be scratching your head and wondering, “Who is Cleary Wolters?” She’s the real-life inspiration behind Piper’s ex-girlfriend Alex Vause.

“Alex [the character] and Piper have inspired me to tell my whole story — an unbelievable saga that takes place all over the world: Africa, Europe, Asia, and the U.S. both in prison and out,” Cleary said in a statement about the memoir, which will be published by HarperOne. “I think people may be surprised at what happened to me after I turned myself in — and where my life is now.”

“Out of Orange,” due out in March 2015, will explore how Cleary got involved in drug trafficking and money laundering, and it will introduce readers to a new set of interesting characters.

The characters on “OITNB” may not all be based on actual people; it’s possible that show creator Jenji Kohan took some creative license with the supporting cast. If other characters on the show could write their own books, these are three we couldn’t wait to read!

Suzanne “Crazy Eyes” Warren

It’s not entirely clear how or why Crazy Eyes wound up in prison, but viewers have gotten a little bit of her back story up to her high school graduation. Aside from her traumatic, public episodes due to her mental illness, it leaves some to wonder what she did to be sentenced to prison.

Sophia Burset

The legal justice system hasn’t always been clear on how to handle transgender offenders. This leads me to wonder if Sophia was immediately taken to a women’s prison or whether she’d incorrectly been placed in a men’s prison at first. I’d also be interested in finding out why she got involved in credit fraud and identity theft given her past in law enforcement.

Galina “Red” Reznikov

Red is tough as nails now, but she wasn’t always that way. A memoir on her first months in prison, and how she came to be the force she is now, would be a page-turner!
