*It looks like Mase has gone full circle: from rapper to preacher to rapper again.

According to TMZ, Mase has officially left his parishioners of the El Elyon International Church high and dry … and has run back to the rap game full time.

At the height of his career in 1999, Mase left the rap to pursue the ministry. With a following of thousands, he did well enough to build two churches in Atlanta and Phoenix where he proselytized about the virtues of marriage and family values.

Well that phase, we suppose, came to an end earlier this year when he and his preacher wife, Tyla Betha, divorced and their flock took the hint and split as well.

Now he’s dropped all ties to the churches he built and has jumped back into his former lifestyle, hardcore; playing regular rap gigs around L.A.
