Lets venture away from sports today and talk about something that will have an impact on almost everyone we know. Im not referring to the Occupy Philadelphia protest that has been in town for the past few weeks, Im referring to the failure of the Congressional Super Committee in reducing our national deficit.

Politics may not be your thing but I’m sure Money is. I don’t think any of us find it acceptable for another person to play with our money as if it were monopoly game money. Yet, this is whats happening in our nations capitol, Washington DC.

We vote for people because they are suppose to stand up a let our voice be heard when they discuss law and new policies. The problem we face as a nation is that any year prior to a Presidential Election, no one in National Government is willing to stand for the voters that elected them.

The failure of the Congressional Super Committee to cut the deficit in a bipartisan manner shows us, that politicians are only worried about getting re-elected and blaming someone else for anything that goes wrong.

It amazes me that with so much at stake Politicians treat our lively hood with the same respect Floyd Mayweather treats his money. Politicians are making it rain with our money in the form of gas prices, interest rates, and many other things that tap our pockets. And the most offensive thing about it all, as that they get in front of a camera or issue a written statement congratulating each other for agreeing to disagree and failing.

Politicians don’t congratulate each other for coming in second place, so don’t disrespect us by thinking second place is acceptable for us when it comes to things that affect our money.
