Melody Thornton makes her solo debut with “Sweet Vendetta.” The retro-sounding record is a far different from the shiny pop she used to create with the Pussycat Dolls.
Though her voice can tip-toe on the line of nasal, it works in her favor on this 60’s-inspired song on which she moans: “Just like a wild horse my love is strong / I’ll be willing to fight for that love and carry on.”
