Should NJ Mom See Jail Time For Taking 5-Year-Old Into Tanning Booth? [Poll]

Patricia Krentcil is accused of bringing her 5-Year-Old daughter into a tanning booth, causing burns to the girl’s body. According to NJ law no one under the age of 14 is allowed to use a tanning booth.

When questioned Krentcil lied, telling authorities her daughter got sunburned by being outside on a recent warm day.

The owner of City Tropics Salon told officials the girl remained outside with her father and brother and didn’t go into the tanning booth while Krentcil was inside, although he was not present the day Krentcil came to the salon.
