Filmaker and teacher Alrick Brown’s directorial debut with his feature film KINYARWANDA. Alrick’s collective work has screened in over forty film festivals, national and international. He and his co-producer recieved the HBO Life Through Your Lens Emerging Filmmaker Award to produce their  documentary Death of Two Sons. He was one of four students from NYU in 2004 featured in the IFC Documentary series Film School, produced by Nannette Burstein.


KINYARWANDA has six different intimate stories interwoven to illustrate both tragedy and triumph. It follows  a young Tutsi woman and a young Hutu man who fall in love admist chaos, a soldier who struggles to foster a greater god hile absent from her family, and a priest who grabble with his faith in the face of unspokable horror.
