Elizabeth Taylor Has Died

After being hospitalized for congestive heart failure 6 weeks ago at Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles, we’re saddened to report the passing of legendary actress Elizabeth Taylor. She was 79.

According to Ms. Taylor’s publicist, the Academy Award-winning actress died peacefully and explains that congestive heart failure was “a condition with which she had struggled for many years. Though she had recently suffered a number of complications, her condition had stabilized and it was hoped that she would be able to return home. Sadly, this was not to be.”
