A US Airways plane was evacuated at Philadelphia International Airport for what officials call an unspecified threat.

Action News has learned that the plane was flight 968, a Boeing 757, heading to Terminal A.

That plane has been moved away from the terminal to a secure location, where it is now being searched. The threat was received by the TSA.

Handlers could be seen manually removing baggage from the plane. There did not appear to be any police robots or the bomb squad.

The plane had come from Glasgow, Scotland and was headed to Anchorage, Alaska. 157 passengers and six crew members were aboard the flight prior to landing in Philadelphia.

Those passengers that were scheduled to go to Alaska remain at the airport.
