Miguel is in New York City where he had an in-store performance at a downtown Apple Store. In celebration of Black Music Month, Miguel, with a futuristic haircut and glowing microphone, sang his two hits “Sure Thing” and “All I Want Is You.”

After a sensual performance of “Teach Me,” he revealed the song was inspired by a 30-year-old woman he was in a relationship with – who knew Miguel liked cougars? He even sang the song while lying on the stage floor, giving the front row an exclusive view!

But shortly after “Teach Me,” he switched it up and did a whimsical song that I did not recognize from his album at all.

Miguel sang “Pure Imagination.” From Charlie & The Chocolate Factory. While standing on top of one of the speakers. All I hoped was that he didn’t fall.

“I feel like a Karate Kid up here. So this is one of my favorite songs from one of my favorite movies,” he said.

Though “Pure Imagination” was an interesting song choice, especially after doing such a sexy track, it did leave an impression.
