Prince dissing internet media, MTV and details on his new album “20Ten” when you read on…

On why he doesn’t like the internet streets:

“The Internet is completely over,” Prince told the Daily Mirror. “I don’t see why I should give my new music to iTunes or anyone else. They won’t pay me an advance for it and then they get angry when they can’t get it.”

Well damn.

About MTV:

“The Internet’s like MTV,” he added. “At one time MTV was hip and suddenly it became outdated.”

He also went on to talk about how he doesn’t like digital devices altogether.

“All these computers and digital gadgets are no good,” he said. “They just fill your head with numbers and that can’t be good for you.”

Tell us how you really feel Prince.

The Purple One has no intentions of distributing a digital version of his album and is giving away free copies of his album on July 10 in issues of The Daily Mirror. He’s also struck deals with Rollingstone Germany and a Belgian newspaper. No U.S. deals have been confirmed, but according to Billboard, the album is linked to Warner Bros.

His Royal Badness could definitely pull off not selling his album online in this day and age – and still probably make big numbers. I’m not mad at you Prince!
