Hank Baskett & Kendra Wilkinson Move Back To Philadelphia
Reality TV star Kendra Wilkinson says on her blog she will be moving back to Philadelphia with Hank Baskett as Philadelphia Eagles’ training camp starts in July.
“This week is going to be crazy, with getting ready for the move back to Philly (GO EAGLES!!!!) which is coming up really soon,” she said.
Wilkinson also downplayed all the publicity surrounding the releases of a sex tape she did several years ago.
“Thank you guys for the love, kindness and support you’ve shown me over the past few weeks. I live for my husband and baby, my friends and family, and my amazing fans,” Wilkinson wrote.
Wilkinson has kept a relatively low profile since the news about the sex tape broke in May. In late May, Wilkinson used her reality show on E! to discuss the tape.
“I hope people don’t press play,” she said about the video.
Wilkinson spoke to a ghost writer who is helping her do a book and she told the writer the sex-tape story is presenting a challenge.
“I hope people have a heart to understand,” Wilkinson said. “I have a kid and a husband.”
Wilkinson said the controversy has been hard on Baskett.
“It just sucks because it’s the hardest thing to deal with right now, and it’s hard on Hank,” she said. “It’s hard on him because it involves another guy, of course, and it’s hard on him because of our son and everything.”
But she says Baskett is also her biggest supporter.
“He’s doing a good thing. He’s understanding. [He says], ‘We just have to hold our heads up high because we’re gonna get attacked, but we can’t run. We have to face it,'” says Wilkinson, 24. “It’s gonna be really hard. Probably the hardest time of our lives.”
The Web site Radar Online has reported that Wilkinson reached an agreement with Vivid Entertainment to release the tape after her former boyfriend sold the tape to Vivid for $100,000. Radar also said Wilkinson will get a large part of the profits from tape sales, with $600,000 upfront. The E! interview doesn’t address Wilkinson’s business role in the tape’s release.
“People are going to judge me and stuff, and I just hope to God that nobody looks at me like a porn star,” Wilkinson continued. “I really hope that people actually have the heart to understand the situation because it’s obvious I have a kid and a husband now.
Wilkinson and Baskett married last year and have a young son. Before her marriage to Baskett, Wilkinson was one of Playboy’s “Girls Next Door” and she had posed nude for Playboy magazine.
