Late Friday night, police shot and seriously wounded a suspect during a gunfight in North Philadelphia. It happened just before 10:30 at 22nd and Cambria Streets. Police say the 20-year-old male suspect fired at them and officers returned fire, hitting him in the groin. No officers were hurt. It’s still unclear what sparked the violence.
