T-Pain has announced his plans to release a Christian album this fall. “A lot of people don’t know this about me,” he said, “but I am a deeply spiritual person. Dude, I go to church just as much as I go to the strip club. That’s saying something.” The album, which as of now is called “Even Heaven Got A VIP” is due out September 9th on Jive/Nappy Boy. Now I know Kanye West won Gospel Song of the Year with “Jesus Walks”, but having a gospel artist who compares going to church with going to the strip club might be going a little bit too far. Oh, and one other little tidbit, the album plans to be auto-tune free.
