Thinking about our political realities in 2010

In the 1970′s there was a song that had this phrase “the revolution will not be televised…” I would like to take that thought a little further and say that today the revolution should focus on: we will no longer be lied to! We will work together for the common good of the country! We will no longer accept a sound byte as fact but ask the next question to get to the heart of the matter! The revolution will no longer push single minded agendas that is solely based on profit, checks and balances!

The revolution will no longer play the dozens to confuse the issue but will call for each of us to think, to listen with our inner ear, heart and minds collectively. The revolution will cause us to stop throwing life away and live it the way it was meant. Not with more things to do but with building and developing relationships that are meaningful.

The revolution my dear brother and sister will lift each of us to our highest self. This is the revolution that should be televised.
