Monique wins the big one!…Taking home the Oscar for Best Supporting Actress for her role as the abusive mother in “PRECIOUS”. She thanked the academy; Tyler Perry and Oprah for believing in the movie enough to produce it; her husband, Sydney, for advising her to have the courage to say yes even when it’s against the popular vote. She thanked so many people, by name, but left off one very important name off the list – Director Lee Daniels! 

If it were not for LEE, there would not have been a movie for Oprah or Tyler to Executive Produce…if it were not for LEE her husband’s advice would have been null…if it were not for LEE, she would not have been standing at that podium thanking anyone! So how dare she casually thank “Her Precious family” and not specifically give LEE his own shout out!
