Tisha Taylor Murphy, the wife of comedian and actor Charlie Murphy reportedly passed away last night in the couple’s home in New Jersey.

Reports say that Tisha had been battling cancer for over a year. And last night, she succumbed to the disease in her sleep. The couple married on August 12, 1997 and they have three children: daughter Eva, and son Xavier. Charlie also has another son from a previous relationship.

Many say that Tisha was not only beautiful on the outside, but also a very beautiful soul. My sincerest condolences to Charlie and the kids
